Revolution Medicines begins shipping experimental pancreatic cancer drug daraxonrasib under FDA early access program

Revolution Medicines announced that it has started sending its experimental pancreatic cancer therapy, daraxonrasib, to doctors and patients through an FDA‑authorized early access program. The company said the drug is not yet approved but is being made available to patients who are seeking new treatment options.

CEO Mark Goldsmith told reporters the shipment began after the company reported striking Phase 3 results in mid‑April, which generated strong demand from the pancreatic‑cancer community. He added that Revolution plans to submit a formal FDA approval application for daraxonrasib in the near future.

The early access rollout reflects both the unmet need in pancreatic cancer and the company’s confidence in the drug’s potential to extend patients’ lives, according to the statements made at a STAT event held alongside the American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting.
