Leader Formulas recalls RAPTURE pre-workout supplement after FDA finds DMAA in product
Leader Formulas, LLC of Tomball, Texas announced a voluntary nationwide recall of one lot of its RAPTURE pre‑workout powder after testing revealed the presence of the stimulant 1,3‑dimethylamylamine (DMAA).
DMAA is linked to elevated blood pressure and can cause cardiovascular issues such as heart attack, shortness of breath, and chest tightness, prompting the recall.
The affected lot, identified by number 260327-4, was sold in 450‑gram containers with a rhinoceros seal and was distributed from Jan 29 2025 through May 25 2026 to retailers and online customers.
Leader Formulas is notifying distributors and consumers by mail and arranging for the return of the recalled product.
