Amgen's daxdilimab shows 6-point CLASI-A reduction in phase 2 lupus trial

Amgen reported data from its phase 2 study of the ILT7-targeting monoclonal antibody daxdilimab in patients with discoid lupus.

The trial enrolled 72 patients and tested two dose levels. The lower dose produced a 6-point drop in the CLASI-A score versus placebo, while the higher dose showed a 5.7-point drop.

Both dose groups met the primary endpoint of reducing disease severity at week 24 and also achieved secondary endpoints, indicating a meaningful improvement in skin involvement.

The results were presented in an abstract at the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Congress in Milan and were highlighted in Amgen’s February earnings release.
