Basecamp Research secures $140 million Series C to accelerate AI-designed drug pipeline

Basecamp Research announced closing a $140 million Series C financing round to further develop its AI-driven drug discovery platform.

The round was led by venture firm S32 and included participation from NVIDIA, Anthropic, and senior biopharma executives such as Roche Vice Chairman André Hoffmann.

Basecamp’s AI model, called EDEN, leverages the Trillion Gene Atlas, the company’s large biological dataset, to generate candidates including peptides, enzymes, and cell and gene therapies.

The new capital will be used to advance investigational medicines produced by EDEN, with an early focus on in‑vivo cell therapies that aim to reprogram patients’ cells inside the body.
