Definium Therapeutics clinches third phase-3 win for LSD anxiety drug, eyes FDA filing

Definium Therapeutics reported another successful phase 3 trial of its LSD‑based anxiety treatment, DT120 ODT.

The Panorama study enrolled 245 patients and compared a 100 µg dose of DT120 with placebo and a lower 50 µg dose. The 100 µg dose lowered Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale scores by 9.8 points at week 12 versus 4.7 points for placebo, a 5.1‑point advantage that exceeds the pre‑specified threshold.

The results build on the earlier Voyage trial, where the same dose achieved a 5.4‑point placebo‑adjusted reduction. The drug also secured a phase 3 success in major depressive disorder in June.

DT120 is given as a single eight‑hour oral dissolving tablet under supervision, with a chaperone guiding patients through the experience. The company plans to submit an FDA filing later this year.
