Six AI agents run on a deskside system to deliver on-premises clinical decision support

Healthcare organizations have long struggled to balance the promise of artificial intelligence with the need to keep patient data secure. Cloud‑based large language models can provide powerful clinical reasoning, but moving protected health information to external services raises compliance concerns.

A new reference architecture built on the Dell Pro Max with the NVIDIA Grace Blackwell Ultra chip allows multiple AI agents to operate entirely on‑premises. The system delivers data‑center class performance at a deskside unit, offering around 20,000 TFLOPS of FP4 computing power and enough memory to host models with up to a trillion parameters.

By keeping all processing within the organization’s own infrastructure, the solution enables advanced, multi‑agent clinical decision support without exposing data to external APIs, opening the door to frontier‑scale reasoning at the point of care.
