One of the prospective roles would focus on the intersection of health and artificial intelligence. A leading candidate mentioned is Jared Seehafer, a senior policy adviser at the FDA who previously founded Enzyme and served as a venture partner at Orange Collective.

The second position would be dedicated to overseeing drugs, though no clear front‑runner has been identified. The FDA has not responded to requests for comment on the potential restructuring.
