Definium's LSD pill shows positive results in late-stage anxiety trial

Definium Therapeutics reported that its pharmaceutical-grade LSD formulation, DT120, achieved positive outcomes in a late-stage study targeting generalized anxiety disorder.

The trial used a 56-point scale to assess emotional, cognitive and physical symptoms of anxiety, and results showed a significant reduction in scores 12 weeks after a single dose.

Analysts highlighted the safety profile and rapid onset observed in earlier depression studies, noting the new data could reinforce the drug's commercial potential, with some projecting multibillion-dollar sales.
