Hims & Hers says it can quickly launch six wellness peptides if FDA lifts ban

Hims & Hers used its second‑quarter earnings call to explain that it is preparing to offer six consumer wellness peptides that are currently prohibited for compounding pharmacies. The company says it has laid the groundwork to bring these products to market should the FDA change its stance.

The six peptides are classified as wellness substances and are presently banned for consumer use. Hims & Hers believes that a regulatory shift would open a new revenue stream and expand its telehealth portfolio.

CEO Shelby Livingston emphasized the firm’s ability to move rapidly once clearance is granted, signaling confidence in its operational readiness. The company did not disclose specific timelines or pricing for the potential launch.
