Daraxonrasib shows 35% response rate in second‑line RAS‑mutated pancreatic cancer

Phase 1/2 data from a monotherapy study of daraxonrasib in patients with RAS G12‑mutated pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reported an objective response rate of 35% when used as a second‑line treatment.

The trial also observed response rates of 29% in patients with any RAS mutation receiving second‑line therapy and 20% in those treated in the third‑line setting or later. Safety findings indicated that 96% of participants experienced treatment‑related adverse events, most of which were low‑grade gastrointestinal or skin issues, and no treatment‑related deaths occurred.

Daraxonrasib is now advancing into three phase 3 programs, including the global RASolute 303 trial that will compare the drug with standard‑of‑care chemotherapy in the second‑line setting.
