Resilience and Eli Lilly commit $750 million to expand Cincinnati GLP-1 injectable production

Jul 31, 2026·read at BioPharma Dive ↗DealPositive

Resilience and Eli Lilly announced a joint $750 million investment to expand drug manufacturing capacity in Cincinnati.

The expansion will add at least 400 jobs and increase Resilience's workforce to over 1,400 across its two facilities, focusing on GLP-1 injectables used for diabetes and obesity.

The partnership, which began in 2023, has already produced more than 150 million doses of Lilly's medicines in vial and pre-filled syringe formats, and the new line is expected to start operations in early 2027.

The move comes as demand for GLP-1 therapies rises, with market forecasts suggesting the global market could exceed $190 billion by 2035.
