Iopofosine I-131 shows high response rates and durable disease control in Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia trial

The 12‑month follow‑up from the CLOVER‑WaM study reports that patients receiving Iopofosine I‑131 achieved strong clinical activity in Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia.

In the per‑protocol group, the major response rate was 61.8% and the overall response rate reached 83.6%, with a median duration of response of 17.8 months.

Patients who had prior exposure to BTK inhibitors or were refractory to them also responded well, showing major response rates of 64.1% and 63.6% respectively.

The safety profile was described as manageable and predictable, supporting the therapeutic potential of the radiolabeled agent.
