Taylor Fresh Foods recalls all iceberg lettuce from central Mexico over possible Cyclospora contamination

Jul 17, 2026·read at fda recalls ↗CRLNegative

Taylor Fresh Foods, operating as Taylor Farms de Mexico in Guanajuato, is voluntarily removing all iceberg lettuce sourced from central Mexico from the U.S. market because of a potential Cyclospora contamination.

Cyclospora can cause diarrhea, frequent bowel movements, loss of appetite, weight loss, stomach cramps, bloating, gas, nausea, fatigue, vomiting, body aches, headache and fever. Some infected individuals show no symptoms, while others may experience dehydration and severe complications that can require medical care, especially if they are immunocompromised.

The recall follows a multistate Cyclospora outbreak linked to iceberg lettuce, and the FDA has published the notice. Consumers should discard the affected product and avoid consumption.
