Schrödinger launches AI agent Bunsen, CEO admits earlier AI skepticism was wrong

Three years ago, CEO Ramy Farid publicly cautioned that the hype around artificial intelligence had reached dangerous levels. He warned that many AI claims were exaggerated and could mislead investors and scientists.

In the latest announcement, Farid said the launch of Bunsen proves his earlier concerns were misplaced. He expressed enthusiasm for the agent’s capabilities and highlighted how it integrates Schrödinger’s computational chemistry expertise.
