XR Health acquires Swing Therapeutics, adding FDA-cleared fibromyalgia digital therapy to its VR platform

XR Health announced the acquisition of Swing Therapeutics, a developer of a digital treatment for fibromyalgia. The deal expands XR Health’s portfolio of virtual reality health solutions.

Swing Therapeutics’ treatment has received FDA clearance and is delivered through telehealth clinics that guide patients in managing fibromyalgia symptoms.

The acquisition is XR Health’s sixth in the past two years, reflecting a strategic push to become a central source of digital therapies for a range of diseases.

XR Health now hosts dozens of VR applications, including meditation, cognitive-behavioral therapy, pain management and hot‑flash relief, and reported about one million user sessions in 2025.
