Ipsen's Dysport shows positive Phase 3 results in migraine, Tarsus acquires iRenix for $75M

Ipsen reported that its injectable neurotoxin Dysport met the primary endpoint in a Phase 3 trial aimed at reducing monthly migraine days.

The trial demonstrated a statistically significant reduction compared with placebo, indicating the therapy could become a new preventive option for migraine sufferers.

In a separate transaction, Tarsus Therapeutics announced the acquisition of iRenix, paying $75 million upfront for the biotech’s assets.

The deal expands Tarsus’s pipeline in oncology and immunology, although details on future development were not disclosed.
