Finance Business Partner - Lung

In this role, you will be the strategic finance partner to our US Lung franchise, shaping plans that fuel growth, sharpening forecast accuracy, and unlocking resources where they matter most. You will bring clarity to complexity—connecting KPIs, P&L dynamics, inventory, and gross-to-net to the realities of market execution—so leaders can move faster with confidence.
You will work shoulder to shoulder with cross-functional partners in Commercial, Trade Operations, Insights and Analytics, and Finance to surface opportunities, mitigate risks, and embed best practices. Accountabilities:
• Financial Planning and Strategy: Lead development of periodic financial and strategic plans for the Lung franchise, aligning resources to priority growth opportunities and long-term objectives.
• P&L Ownership: Drive end-to-end P&L management with a focus on forecast accuracy, disciplined cost control, and efficient resource allocation to maximize performance and value creation.
• Performance Reporting and Insight: Oversee KPI and core financial reporting (P&L, inventory, gross-to-net) and translate results into clear, actionable insights that inform commercial choices.
• Monthly Business Reviews: Lead monthly submissions from the US market to the Global Oncology Business Unit, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely deliverables supported by robust analysis.
• Forecasting Excellence: Own planning and forecasting processes in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, delivering consistent, ambitious, and assumption-driven plans.
• Results Challenge and Course-Correction: Evaluate and challenge financial results, track progress versus budget and forecast, and recommend corrective actions to improve delivery.
• Commercial Partnership: Partner closely with business leaders to understand performance drivers and tactics, identify risks and opportunities, and build robust business cases that guide investment.
• Reporting Landscape Improvement: Proactively assess and evolve performance reporting in partnership with the US Lung Senior Finance Director and peers, driving simplification and impact.
• Strategic Finance Interface: Serve as the connective tissue between Franchise Commercial and Finance, ensuring tools, processes, and insights enable fast, high-quality decisions.
• Process Simplification and Automation: Identify and lead improvements across the planning journey and related operations, leveraging digital and AI capabilities to boost efficiency and transparency.
Essential Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, FP&A, or finance business partnering.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to execute and deliver in a dynamic environment.
• Advanced financial modelling capability, including the ability to evaluate scenarios, assess risks, and support strategic decisions.
• Well-developed business acumen, with a strong understanding of commercial and financial drivers.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar advanced qualification
• Prior experience in Pharma, Biotech, or MedTech
• Ability to lead large-scale processes, enterprise initiatives, or complex cross-functional projects.
• Strong digital, AI, and Systems acumen

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $122,760 to $184,140. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
