About the Job The Events Platform Business Partner role is a part of the Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC), Customer Facing Capabilities (CFC), CRM & Enablers team. The GTMC organization drives best-in-class capabilities and brings value and excellence in commercial operations. The GTMC organization is a key part of the modernization of Sanofi and allows all business operations efforts to be focused on Sanofi "Take the Lead" priorities across products, markets, and pipelines. It accomplishes these goals through realizing the efficiencies of removing silos that exist between our business units, avoiding the duplication and overlapping of resources, standardizing our processes and tools, operating with a One Sanofi approach to accelerate our key capabilities development, and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit by speeding up the decision-making process.
This role serves as the technical authority for Events and Congresses platform operations within OneCRM US, leading the strategic vision for event platform capabilities, data governance, and system evolution. This leader designs and implements scalable event platform solutions that support multi-brand, multi-market launch requirements, ensuring enterprise-wide compliance, data integrity, and continuous platform transformation across all event types (Speaker Meetings, Displays, Product Theaters, Scientific Education Programs, and Speaker Trainings).
This position will work closely with CRM & Enablers Team members in the US, US-based stakeholders, Hyderabad HUB resources, contracted system enhancement resources, Sales, Marketing, Medical, Field Engagement Management, Business Operations, Compliance, other GTMC pillars, Veeva, and Sanofi Digital to lead the end-to-end design, governance, and evolution of the Events and Congresses platform across the OneCRM US ecosystem. This leader serves as a strategic partner across the enterprise, influencing platform direction, data governance standards, and operational frameworks that underpin compliant, high-performing event execution at scale.
Main Responsibilities
• Lead the strategic vision and roadmap for Events and Congresses platform capabilities across OneCRM US, ensuring alignment with enterprise CRM standards and business priorities
• Serve as the technical authority for Veeva Events and Congresses, influencing platform architecture decisions and integration strategies across the OneCRM US ecosystem
• Design and implement scalable event platform solutions supporting multi-brand Speaker Meetings, Displays, Product Theaters, Scientific Education Programs, and Speaker Trainings across multiple markets and business units
• Drive enterprise-wide data governance for events data, establishing standards and frameworks for transparency, compliance, and data integrity across all event types and downstream systems
• Architect end-to-end event platform frameworks and processes — including topic management, speaker profiles, budgets, and nomination tools — that scale with organizational growth and platform evolution
• Lead and mentor the events platform operations team, providing technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and career development support that elevates individual and team capability
• Influence technical decisions across requirements gathering, system enhancements, and UAT for major platform initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and fit for enterprise purposes
• Shape the long-term roadmap for Events and Congresses platform evolution and integration with downstream systems, including iCare, transparency, FMV, GRF, and contracting
• Lead change management efforts for platform enhancements and system evolution, driving adoption and alignment across field teams, Field Engagement Management, and business stakeholders
• Drive capability building across the broader CRM community through structured knowledge sharing, best practice development, and train-the-trainer programs
• Partner with Field Engagement Management, Sales, Marketing, Medical, Compliance, and Business Operations to influence event platform strategy and ensure the platform meets evolving business requirements
• Lead transformation of events operational processes, establishing performance measurement frameworks and continuous improvement approaches that drive platform excellence
• Investigate and remediate escalated inquiries, applying technical expertise to resolve complex issues and prevent recurrence through systemic process improvements
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across partner GTMC US teams, ensuring event platform strategies are integrated with broader CRM initiatives and enterprise data standards
About our Team The CRM & Enablers Team is a part of the GTMC organization in the US. The CRM & Enablers Team strives to support our business customer facing teams by delivering innovative CRM capabilities that are timely, reliable, accurate, and constantly improving. We focus on our customers — both brand teams and customer facing teams — to adapt our CRM platform and operational systems to meet their needs. Our efforts to streamline and maintain OneCRM US bring value and impact to the organization by reducing the manual workload on our customer facing teams, by providing accurate activity data back to reporting systems, and acting as the nexus of data flow to and from Sanofi data systems. This team operates as a strategic partner to the business, driving platform excellence and enabling compliant, high-impact field engagement at enterprise scale.
About the Candidate This candidate has a demonstrated track record of leading technical teams, influencing enterprise platform strategy, and designing scalable event platform solutions across multiple business units and product launches. They bring deep expertise in Veeva Events and Congresses, data governance, and compliance requirements — including PhRMA guidelines and transparency reporting — combined with the ability to translate complex technical platform requirements into enterprise-wide operational frameworks. This leader has experience architecting event management solutions, driving process transformation, and building organizational capability at scale. They are skilled at influencing senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Medical, Compliance, and Field Engagement Management, navigating complex matrix environments, and shaping platform strategy across concurrent launch programs. Strong English communication skills and availability to engage with US stakeholders with significant operational hour overlap are essential.
Ideal Experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university (Project Management Masters or MBA preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive events platform and CRM operations experience with demonstrated leadership
• 7+ years of experience in Biotechnology or Pharmaceuticals
• Proven track record of leading technical teams and driving strategic platform initiatives across enterprise-scale programs
• Experience in solution architecture for event management platforms and CRM systems
• Advanced expertise in data governance, compliance requirements (PhRMA guidelines), and data integrity across events and transparency reporting
• Advanced skills in managing senior stakeholder relationships across business units and multiple launch projects
• Experience influencing enterprise-wide platform strategy and operational approaches
• Strong knowledge and experience with Veeva Events and Congresses, Agile processes, and event management systems
• Deep understanding of the events ecosystem including transparency, FMV, GRF, contracting, and field engagement integration
• A keen eye for improvement opportunities and the demonstrated ability to deliver on these opportunities
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain not only the requirements and the "ask", but also the "why" with credibility
