Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.
The Opportunity:
The Senior Manager, Field Market Access will be responsible to ensure and optimize access of Revolution Medicines’ pipeline at a regional level, building strategic relationships and engaging with regional payers/payer organizations (and their influencers), and public affairs stakeholders.
This individual is a field based employee with extensive market access experience who is responsible of the development of projects, budgetary control and to present value evidences tools to payers and those with budgetary responsibility at regional level. The Senior Manager, Field Market Access’ activity is designed to shape a favourable environment for our products and services through effective and targeted communication with payers at a Regional and Local level as dictated by the local country business.
Essential Responsbilities:
• Define and implement Market Access strategies to ensure access of Revolution Medicines products at Regional and Hospital level by demonstrating their therapeutic, economic and societal value using a deep knowledge of the Regional environment in collaboration with Senior Oncology Account Managers.
• Manage and maintain the institutional relationship with all Regional Health Administration Professionals in their Autonomous Communities (Decision-makers, evaluators, influencers / advisers) and in their hospitals (management, medical directions), who have an impact on the development of national and regional pharmaceutical policy, for the evaluation and positioning of drugs, acting as the main interlocutor in the presentation and advice of the portfolio of Revolution Medicines products.
• Carry out the introduction at a regional level of Revolution Medicines products and support Senior Oncology Account Managers at the hospital pharmacies as needed.
• Support the negotiations carried out at the regional services and hospital level, both for tenders, as well as negotiated procedures and offers, with purchasing centers and regional framework agreements.
• Provide guidance for the development and customization of pharmaco-economic data, cost effectiveness/budget impact models in line with the specific needs and requirements of sub-national stakeholders.
• Establish relationships with key stakeholders such as Regional Health Authorities, Medical Societies, Scientific Institutions, Payers and Patient Advocacy groups.
• Communicates relevant changes and trends in local health policy environment and Patient Access activities of new competitors to the cross-functional team.
• Comply with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Revolution Medicines staff.
• Visibly embody corporate Core Values while cultivating an energized team culture focused on patient impact.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
• MA/MS/BA/BS degree.
• 10 or more years in a position in the pharmaceutical industry with dialogue with Regional Health Administrations and dependent organizations.
• In-depth knowledge of the national health system and the health policies of the Autonomous Communities under his responsibility.
• Knowledge and leadership of relationships with key stakeholders for the pharmaceutical industry at all levels within the Health Organizations in the assigned Autonomous Communities.
Demonstrate deep scientific knowledge capacity to defend and value the clinical aspects in the therapeutic areas of their responsibility.
• Demonstrated success in drug launching in the regional and hospital market.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating drugs pricing and reimbursement conditions with public administrations and health authorities at Regional and Hospital level.
• Ability to set priorities and work towards tight timelines with a willingness to travel, mainly within Spain, approx. 60 % to 70 % of time.
Preferred Skills:
• Preferably experience in the oncology space.
• Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD).
• Strong organization, planning, project management, technical and analytical skills.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, a structured approach to tasks and professional appearance is essential to embody the core values from Revolution Medicines.
• Flexible team member who can handle ambiguity and evolving priorities in a fast growing organization embracing a positive attitude towards change, able to operate within agreed financial budgets.
• Outstanding team player and crossfuctional work.
• Other relevant experience (e.g., sales operations, marketing, etc.).
• Ability to work independently to execute strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines.
• Delivers compelling presentations to individuals and groups, adapting messaging to maximize audience engagement.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft suite including Powerpoint, Excel, Word.
