The Position Job description We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize our data structures from the ground up. In this role, you won't just move data; you will architect a data foundation specifically optimized for AI/ML consumption and business intelligence. You will partner closely with stakeholders and teammates like Business Analyst, Solution Architect, Front end developers to turn raw data into a strategic asset that drives automated insights and business efficiencies. The business areas are mainly portfolio, project, resource managers as well as senior management groups. Our goal is to drive Operational Excellence and Efficiency via digital solutions such as resource management tool, AI capabilities, MS Suites etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Accountability/Problem Solving: Challenges the status quo and is highly skillful in navigating group dynamics and diversified settings. Fosters good collaboration, knowledge sharing, coaching, and mentoring.

• Stakeholder Management: Prioritizes and communicates with stakeholders effectively. Maintains a bigger picture view and understands how various technical components fit into the overall strategy and goals. Provide guidance to business partners on the importance with the data quality, standardizations and security

Impact/Strategy: Acts as a technical mentor and aligns development plans with the global strategy. Gets involved in initiatives and tasks reaching outside of regular project scope, gives speeches, shares knowledge in organizational events (e.g., DevOps Days, Tech Talk), and engages in the organization of knowledge-sharing events.

• Data Architecture & Modeling: Design and implement scalable data models that serve both standard BI reporting and advanced AI applications.

• AI Integration Readiness: Clean, feature-engineer, and structure data specifically to train machine learning models and power Generative AI/LLM applications (e.g., vector databases).

• Insight Generation: Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to create data products that expose hidden trends and predictive insights.

• Business/Technical ability: Possesses a deep understanding of the broader technical landscape beyond the specific component being worked on. Formulates and implements technical strategies aligned with organizational objectives, investing time and energy into initiatives that boost creativity and innovation while keeping the highest engineering quality.

Qualifications Education / Experience

• B.S. or M.S. in a Quantitative Field: Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.

• 3-6 years of experience in data science and engineering

• Proven experience successfully driving small to medium (S/M) initiatives (Project/Squad/Product).

• Demonstrated experience acting as a technical mentor and sharing knowledge through speeches and organized events.

• Proficiency in data manipulation and AI integration and advanced SQL..

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (feature stores, vector embeddings, or training data pipelines).

• Proven capability to design, craft, deploy, and sustain data solutions that are tailored to business requirements and objectives.

• Good understanding of cybersecurity and the implementation of secure software development practices.

• Ability to identify and proactively address complex technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and architectural challenges.

• Quickly learner and willing to do what it takes to get the job done with curiosity
