Bristol-Myers Squibb Company is hiring a(n) Senior Manager, Business Development Analytics (in Lawrenceville, NJ).

Duties: Serve as the key point-of-contact for the execution and delivery of best-in-class business development (“BD”) analytics and commercial assessment of potential assets, programs, markets, and collaborations being considered in each assigned franchise. Partner with stakeholders in the strategic framing, due diligence, and fit-for-purpose analytics for data-driven investment decisions. Generate, present, defend, and maintain forecasts of opportunities and markets. Provide disease-area and portfolio-related context to help teams understand how decisions will be perceived by senior management and BD review committees. Assess relevant marketplaces, customers, competitors, and future development trends. Provide an unbiased point-of-view on the performance and future potential of markets, brands, and pipeline assets, supported by facts and evidence. Develop and deliver presentations that synthesize disparate data such as market research, and secondary data. Collaborate with business counterparts to plan and execute accurate analytics in support of diligence workstreams. Help BD-focused teams make informed strategic decisions and choices through the clear development and articulation of various opportunities during due-diligence. Maintain data integrity and consistency within disease areas and BD analytics group. Supporting leadership in the assessment of financial implications of business development opportunities. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field, and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or related occupation.

Must have Two (2) years of experience in the following skills (which may be gained concurrently): • Developing and maintaining revenue, volume, or patient forecasts using advanced Excel or forecasting platforms; • Applying epidemiological models, analog launch data, and uptake curve methodologies relevant to pharmaceutical assets; • Integrating secondary market data (IQVIA, DRG, EP), primary research, clinical trial results, and competitive intelligence to inform key forecast assumptions; • Performing sensitivity, scenario, and Monte Carlo analyses to validate and pressure-test forecasts, delivering risk-adjusted insights to stakeholders; • Presenting and defending forecast methodologies, assumptions, and results to BD committees and senior leadership with clear visualizations and documentation; • Conducting competitive landscape analysis and brand mapping for key therapeutic areas; and • Synthesizing market research and clinical data to develop differentiated asset value propositions;

Must have Three (3) years of experience in the following skills (which may be gained concurrently): • Providing advanced analytics for asset evaluation and market opportunity assessment; • Designing, building, and validating forecasting models for pipeline and inline assets; and • Synthesizing and interpreting complex data sets for strategic investment decisions.

All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown.

*Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible.
