ROLE SUMMARY
The Director, Global Berobenatide Commercial Development supports the development and leads execution of the commercial development strategy for berobenatide, with a primary focus on lifecycle management (LCM) indications and global market readiness beyond the initial obesity launch. This role supports asset-level strategy execution, drives cross-functional alignment, and ensures integration of insights into actionable commercial plans.
Operating as a key cross-functional leader, this role requires a strong sense of urgency, comfort navigating ambiguity, and the ability to translate strategic direction into execution. The Director will focus on shaping and advancing LCM strategies for berobenatide, ensuring alignment with the broader obesity franchise strategy and evolving clinical profile.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support development and lead execution of lifecycle management (LCM) strategies for berobenatide across current and future indications.
• Support evaluation and prioritization of expansion opportunities, including new indications and market segments.
• Contribute to forecasting, scenario planning, and business case development for LCM initiatives.
• Partner closely with CMO and the cross functional teams to develop and operationalize brand architecture and strategic narrative for berobenatide across indications and geographies.
• Support development of core global brand deliverables, ensuring alignment with clinical profile, customer insights, and competitive positioning.
• Ensure consistency and differentiation of the berobenatide brand across global and local markets
• The Director will partner closely with ICO teams to support launch readiness and commercialization of berobenatide across priority markets.
• Translate global strategy into actionable plans for regional and local markets, ensuring adaptability to local needs and market dynamics.
• Incorporate insights from ICO teams to refine global strategies and improve execution effectiveness.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD, MD, MPH, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or related industry experience.
• Significant experience in global commercial development, marketing, launch strategy, portfolio strategy, or business leadership.
• Demonstrated experience leading brand strategy for international markets.
• Knowledge of obesity, cardiometabolic, or related therapeutic areas.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced scientific and business acumen with experience in obesity or metabolic disease.
• Global launch experience for specialty or primary care brands.
• Experience supporting late-stage development assets and commercialization planning.
• Demonstrated ability to execute effectively in highly dynamic and evolving markets.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to analyze complex clinical, commercial, and financial data sets and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, changing business needs, and significant ambiguity while maintaining high-quality decision making.
• Ability to participate in extended strategic planning and operational review meetings.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
• Domestic and international travel up to approximately 20–30%, based on business needs.
• May require participation in meetings outside standard business hours to accommodate global stakeholders.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $162,900.00 to $271,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
