THE OPPORTUNITY

insitro is a physical AI company dedicated to unlocking causal human biology and accelerating the delivery of better medicines to patients. Our unique Virtual Human™ platform identifies novel, high-impact genetic intervention points, which our TherML™ platform translates into therapeutics—whether small molecules, biologics, or oligos. With multiple programs in metabolic disease and neuroscience advancing toward the clinic, and our first IND submission slated for the second half of this year, we are at a pivotal inflection point.

insitro's success depends on attracting and developing exceptional talent across a wide range of high-demand disciplines. We're looking for a highly organized Recruiting Coordinator to join us on a 3-month contract, with the option to extend, and coordinate a high volume of recruiting activity as we build world-class teams. This is a highly visible role with frequent interaction with senior leadership across the company.

Based in South San Francisco, this position reports directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition & Workforce Strategy, with day-to-day management by the Recruiting Operations Specialist. It offers an in-person hybrid schedule of two to three days per week on average, flexing up to five days based on onsite interview volume and business need.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate Experience & Coordination

- Interview Scheduling: Own end-to-end interview scheduling and related meetings, including debriefs, for a high volume of candidates across teams and levels.

- Onsite Logistics: Manage candidate meetings from start to finish, whether they happen at headquarters or offsite.

- Travel & Reimbursements: Coordinate candidate travel and process expense reimbursements quickly and accurately.

- Seamless Experience: Ensure every candidate feels supported and informed at every step of the process.

Recruiting Operations & Partnership

- ATS Ownership: Track candidate progress in Ashby from first contact through offer, maintaining the team's data integrity.

- Tools Expert: Become a subject matter expert on Recruiting Operations tools, processes, and tech stack.

- Process Documentation: Document standard operating procedures so the team runs consistently and efficiently.

- Go-To Partner: Build strong relationships with hiring managers and selection teams, helping them solve day-to-day needs.

ABOUT YOU

Experience & Qualifications

- Proven Tenure: 2+ years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator.

- High-Volume Scheduling: Experience managing multiple interview events on a calendar at the same time.

- Executive Coordination: Experience scheduling executive-level interviews in partnership with Executive Assistants.

- Recruiting Tech: Hands-on experience with an ATS such as Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever, plus tools like scheduling assistants, JD builders, or data visualization platforms.

- Spreadsheet Skills: Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.

- AI Fluency: Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude in your daily work.

Compensation & Benefits at insitro

Our target starting salary for successful US-based applicants for this role is $46 - $50/hr. To determine starting pay, we consider multiple job-related factors including a candidate's skills, education and experience, market demand, business needs, and internal parity. We may also adjust this range in the future based on market data.
