We are seeking a Specialist Business Intelligence Architecture Analytics to join our Data, Tech, and Innovation function, supporting our Global Development analytics initiatives in a hybrid work model. In this role, you will build and maintain analytical datasets, data models, and data products while collaborating with Business Intelligence Architecture, reporting, analytics, and downstream stakeholder teams. Discover your role:
• Build, refine, and maintain data pipelines and transformation workflows in Databricks and Snowflake using SQL and PySpark.
• Develop, test, and support analytical data models and curated datasets for Global Development analytics initiatives and workflow migrations.
• Implement reusable, well-structured code aligned with established development standards, naming conventions, and architecture patterns.
• Create data products that support analytics, dashboarding, and artificial intelligence/machine learning use cases.
• Validate data accuracy and completeness through data quality checks, discrepancy analysis, and root cause investigation.
• Prepare structured documentation for datasets, transformations, and business logic to support downstream reporting and analytics teams.
• You bring a collaborative attitude and work effectively with technical and business partners to deliver project outcomes.
• You approach complex data challenges with curiosity, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality execution.
This role requires:
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in data analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data engineering and analytics workflows; experience with Databricks is preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, engineering, and analysis.
• Experience supporting Tableau dashboards and data visualizations.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and interpret complex datasets.
• Experience developing datasets for downstream artificial intelligence and machine learning use cases preferred.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical trial operational data preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into business value.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
