• Grade: L4-1
• Hiring Manager: Diana Roberts
• Location: Morristown, NJ
About the Job The Director of U.S. Corporate Social Responsibility Strategic Programs is a public-facing leadership role that combines national program oversight with regional community development to advance Sanofi's commitment to Sustainable & Equitable Access to Healthcare. This position serves as a bridge between corporate strategy and community impact, driving measurable results that align with business objectives while delivering authentic value to underserved communities. Operating at both national and regional levels, the Director leads Sanofi's highly visible signature commitment to Community Health Workers (CHW) to build workforce capacity and sustainability, recognizing CHWs as essential partners in expanding healthcare access to under-supported populations. The role centers on key initiatives including vaccine education, One Resp., reimbursement, and the cross-sector Health in Action Collaborative, working across internal teams and external partnerships to create integrated, data-driven solutions.
Regionally, the Director shapes Sanofi's community presence in New Jersey, particularly Morris County, home to our Morristown headquarters, developing authentic partnerships that reflect core CSR priorities while addressing critical community needs, and positioning Sanofi as an authentic and committed leader in the communities it serves.
In addition, the Director will work on special projects embedding our social impact work throughout the business, as well as measurement of CSR programs. This role reports to the Head, U.S. Corporate Social Responsibility and President, Sanofi Cares N.A., and interacts with senior leaders including the Sanofi’s U.S. Country Council.
The Importance of Measurable KPIs
Success in this role is defined by demonstrable impact. These metrics ensure accountability, enable continuous improvement, and provide the data necessary to communicate impact to internal and external stakeholders. Through rigorous measurement and reporting, the Director transforms community engagement from good intentions into quantifiable business value.
