Live What you will do Overview:

• Maximizes sales execution for Inflammation and Osteoporosis products within Territory

• Achieves sales targets

• Shares and is regularly consulted by peers on improving message content/delivery

• Exhibits a high level of expertise in territory planning & account planning in line with marketing strategy

• Networks and develops effective long-standing relationship internally & externally

• Disseminates an in-depth knowledge of how hospitals operate. Shares experience with others.

• Develop creative ideas for meeting topics & formats

• Lives the Amgen Values, is Role model, plays as a mentor

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements territory POA and key account plans, consistently exceeds POA

• Conducts systematic, in-depth analysis of problems in order to anticipate in advance the best course of action to improve performance

• Contributes to the Cluster/Territory team members, ensuring data is accurately recorded into CRM

• Works with National Sales Manager and others to develop best practices

• Disseminates an in-depth knowledge of how retail practices, clinics and hospitals operate, the differing roles of stakeholders and their needs in relation to the needs of Amgen

• Anticipates & communicates competitive threats and opportunities. Takes the lead on gathering competitive intelligence

• Builds long-term relationships by providing a high level of service and creatively handling customer requests, needs and commitments

• Reports customer activity in the CRM system and ensures customer profiles are kept up to date

• Demonstrates an understanding of and effectively implements Amgen’s performance4.

• Demonstrates ability to access extra resources for projects from Head office.

• Is trusted by customers to develop creative ideas for meeting topics and formats and follow-up with customers

• Is an agile learner; consistently seeks opportunities for professional and personal development

Win What we expect of you Qualifications The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.

Minimum Requirements • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales-related job, with a proven track record of success • Some experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office) • Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication • Relevant local legal qualification

Preferred Requirements • Experience in and knowledge of hospital market. • Bachelor’s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences • Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles • Exposure to interactions with various disciplines and organizational levels • Exposure to project management principles
