Join AstraZeneca’s dedicated Oncology team and lead the relationships that bring our innovative medicines to the right patients at the right time. As a Key Account Manager, you will own a territory strategy that blends clinical fluency with commercial rigor. You will engage oncology care teams with clear, on-label conversations about efficacy and safety, and translate market insight into decisive action. Working closely with your Sales Manager, you will design plans that outpace targets and advance patient access with compliant, ethical execution. This is a role for someone who thrives on launch momentum and precision planning. Can you see yourself guiding an account from first discussion of a new indication to sustained, appropriate use across a network of clinics and hospitals? If so, you will have the platform, pipeline, and support to make a measurable impact.
Accountabilities:
• Training and Product Mastery: Successfully complete all training and product examinations to become a trusted resource on approved indications, efficacy, and safety profiles.
• Clinical Engagement: Lead on-label, evidence-based discussions with oncology healthcare professionals to support appropriate prescribing for eligible patients.
• Territory Strategy and Planning: Co-create a data-driven local strategy and business plan with your Sales Manager to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals.
• Sales Performance and Forecasting: Own the forecast; drive demand, manage budgets, and consistently deliver against therapeutic and territory expectations.
• Market Intelligence: Build a deep, current view of demographics, referral pathways, managed markets, and access dynamics in your territory; turn insights into prioritized actions.
• Compliance Excellence: Adhere to all policies and regulations governing interactions with healthcare professionals and sample distribution; set the standard for ethical conduct.
• Impact Amplification: Share account insights with cross-functional partners to refine tactics, inform future launches, and elevate the patient experience.

• Bachelor’s degree / MBA - Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations.
