Your new role As a Public Policy Manager, you will be at the intersection of healthcare policy, commercial strategy and patient advocacy – translating complex regulatory environments into actionable insights and strategies that safeguard and advance Novo Nordisk's ability to reach patients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring, analysing and interpreting public policy developments across key therapy areas to identify risks and opportunities for Novo Nordisk's portfolio - Developing and executing policy strategies that support patient access to innovative treatments in areas such as obesity, diabetes and other serious chronic diseases - Building and maintaining relationships with policymakers, government officials, industry associations and other external stakeholders - Collaborating cross-functionally with medical affairs, market access, legal and commercial teams to align policy positions with broader business objectives - Preparing policy briefs, position papers and strategic recommendations for senior leadership - Representing Novo Nordisk in external forums, industry coalitions and policy consultations - Tracking the competitive and regulatory landscape to anticipate shifts that could impact portfolio and market strategy
Your new department Within this area, the Public Policy team plays a critical role in ensuring Novo Nordisk's voice is heard where it matters most – in the policy discussions that determine how healthcare is delivered and how patients access treatment. You will join a collaborative and strategically minded team that works at the crossroads of science, business and society, directly influencing the environment in which our therapies reach the people who need them.
Your skills & qualifications We are looking for someone who combines deep policy expertise with the strategic mindset and collaborative energy to thrive in a fast-evolving healthcare landscape. To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Master's degree in public policy, political science, health economics, law or a related field - Significant experience in public affairs, government relations or health policy, ideally within the pharmaceutical or broader healthcare industry - A strong understanding of healthcare systems, pricing and reimbursement frameworks and the regulatory environment - Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to build trusted relationships with policymakers and external partners - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex policy topics into clear, compelling narratives - A proactive, analytical mindset and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions and geographies - Must be a Thai citizen or permanent resident - Fluent written and verbal English skills essential
