Right now, formulation is the eye of the storm in aseptic production in Hillerød. As Senior Formulation Professional, you will take technical ownership of new products entering the factory, running change cases and validations that get them into production reliably. New products are on their way, and formulation meets them first. Your work sets the course for what happens next – and helps bring treatments closer to the people who rely on them.
What you'll do
You will be the technical owner of the product's route into the factory, working hands-on in production and turning new challenges into workable ways of running them.
• Take technical responsibility for new products in formulation, from first arrival to stable production.
• Lead change cases and validation activities, and use sampling and analysis results to make sound decisions.
• Work closely with operators on the production floor, staying close to the process day to day.
• Help figure out how to run products we have never made before – there is no "the way we usually do it".
• Collaborate with an experienced "umbrella" supporter to build and document new cases together.
• Keep quality and compliance high throughout, never compromising on patient safety.
What you'll bring Essential:
• A bachelor's or master's degree within a natural science field – for example biology, engineering or pharmacy. Around five years of relevant experience can substitute for the degree.
• Minimum around three years of experience with aseptic production.
• Hands-on experience with change cases and validations – this matters more than formulation experience, because our processes here are not mirrored elsewhere in the organisation.
• The drive to learn a lot in a short time, and the energy to take hold rather than wait to be told what to do.
• Comfort with a dynamic, on-site working day close to production, with many collaboration partners in play.
• Fluency in Danish and professional proficiency in English.
Useful, but not essential:
• Formulation experience is a real plus, though our local processes will still be new to you.
Who you'll work with
You will join a team of around ten people – five in formulation and five in compliance – within Operation & AP Support in Drug Product Manufacturing in Hillerød. The team shares a strong social spirit, plenty of good humour and a close working relationship with operators.
You will work day to day alongside an experienced supporter who has been here for many years and acts as the team's anchor, building new cases with you. You will also partner closely with operators and a passionate project lead. The team welcomes a new, highly experienced leader shortly, so you are joining a period of genuine change: new products, new colleagues and new ways of working. What you can expect here
This is a busy, fast-moving place where you will land and run. Over the next roughly eighteen months you will take on responsibility for new products and grow your skills quickly through real, hands-on work. You will be trusted to own your area and speak up, in a supportive department where colleagues care about each other and about doing the work well.
The role is offered at a total salary of DKK 570,200–838,100 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is primarily on-site in Hillerød; occasional home-working days can be arranged, though the coming year will be very much on-site.
