The Opportunity
We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our Finance team.
Operations:
• Supervise transaction-level general ledger process and monthly close
• Supervise revenue recognition process and detail review revenue schedules for accuracy
• Supervise processing of accounts payable and employee expenses
• Supervise billing and collections of customer receivables
• Supervise two direct reports in the accounting function
Financial Reporting:
• Responsible for timely and accurate monthly reporting, including monthly compliance with group accounting requirements as applicable
• Responsible financial statement consolidation, and coordination of all international financial reporting
• Responsible for technical accounting analysis for complex transactions
• Establish and maintain internal controls, as applicable
Integration:
• Assist in integration workstreams related to financial reporting and accounting
Financial Systems & Support:
• Provide accounting support in FP&A processes, including assisting in budgeting process
• Identify continuous improvement of processes, policies, and use of technology in Finance & Accounting function
Who You Are
• You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in an Assistant Controller or similar accounting management role
• Deep knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and experience preparing financial statements
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar platforms)
• Strong understanding of internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit processes
• Experience with month-end and year-end close procedures, including reconciliations and consolidations
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Experience managing accounting teams or supervising accounting staff
• Strong communication skills with ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively with external auditors and prepare for audit engagements
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability for financial accuracy and compliance

The cash compensation outlined below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets for eligible positions. Certain roles may also qualify for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

This is a hybrid position based in Boston, MA.
Relocation benefits are not available for this position.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location Boston, MA is $129,750 - $224,250. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
