Passionate about horticulture and building strong grower relationships? Join Bayer Vegetable Seeds as our Regional Business Manager for Victoria, where you'll combine technical expertise and commercial acumen to drive product adoption, support customers and grow a leading vegetable seed portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to combine your technical agricultural expertise with commercial leadership, working directly with growers, nurseries, distributors and industry partners to deliver innovative seed solutions that improve productivity and create value across the vegetable supply chain.

This is a remote-based role located in Victoria, with regular travel throughout key vegetable-growing regions including East Gippsland, Mildura, Shepparton, Werribee and surrounding areas. You will manage a diverse territory, develop strong customer relationships, execute trials and demonstrations, support product launches and drive sustainable business growth.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve sales, growth and profitability objectives across Victoria.

• Build strong relationships with growers, nurseries, distributors, resellers and key industry stakeholders.

• Plan and manage commercial demonstrations, variety trials, field days and product launch activities.

• Identify new business opportunities and drive increased adoption of Bayer Vegetable Seed products.

• Provide accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence and customer insights to support business planning and crop strategy.

• Collaborate with Market Development, Product Management, Marketing and Supply teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

• Support channel partners through training, product positioning and commercial programs.

• Translate technical trial results and agronomic information into compelling customer value propositions.

• Ensure effective stewardship, complaint resolution and compliance with Bayer policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain accurate customer, account, forecast and activity information within approved business systems.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Current driver's licence and willingness to undertake regular travel throughout Victoria.

• Degree qualification in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agribusiness or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

• Demonstrated experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, horticulture, vegetable production or the seed industry.

• Strong commercial acumen with experience in territory management, sales planning and forecasting.

• Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted customer and industry relationships.

• Experience working with growers, distribution partners, nurseries or agricultural supply chains is highly regarded.

• Ability to communicate technical product information in a commercially relevant and customer-focused manner.

• Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience using CRM, forecasting and reporting systems.
