The Position
As a Custom Software Developer within Pharma Technical Development (PTD), you will be an active project contributor building and maintaining digital solutions that support our clinical pipeline and manufacturing processes. Working within a well-defined scope, you will contribute across the full software lifecycle—developing full-stack features, integrating internal platforms, and ensuring code quality and compliance in a regulated biotech environment.
Pharma Technical Development (PTD) collaborates across Research & Development to efficiently transform scientific ideas into products by developing robust and efficient manufacturing processes and quality control systems. They reliably deliver the clinical pipeline, supplying quality products for patients enrolled in clinical studies worldwide, while developing new and convenient Drug Delivery Systems for patients.
Job Responsibilities
• Scope / (Content Leadership): Contributes to the design, coding, testing, and deployment of web applications and microservices tailored to PTD business requirements.
• Accountability/Problem Solving: Serves as an active project team member. Implements assigned features, troubleshoots issue reports, participates in peer code reviews, and proactively communicates technical risks or blockers.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicates directly with feature owners, technical leads, and end-users to understand user stories, clarify requirements, and provide updates on task progress.
• Impact/Strategy: Actively builds technical skills, pursues relevant trainings/certifications, and participates in internal tech communities, knowledge-sharing sessions, CoEs and CoPs.
• Complexity/ (Product Size): Works primarily at the individual feature and component level within well-defined software projects.
• Business/Technical ability: Understands how individual technical components fit into larger systems, identifies opportunities, and suggests improvements. Thinks of alternative ways to solve problems before asking for support and continuously builds up a network of colleagues.
Qualifications Education / Experience
• Experience serving as an active project contributor in software engineering, with a focus on designing and deploying software solutions.Proven ability to deliver tasks reliably within a structured team environment.
• Understanding of or exposure to software validation, testing practices, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GxP)
• Demonstrated ability to execute an independent development plan and actively participates in knowledge-sharing initiatives
Technical Skills
• Solid skills in modern backend and frontend tech stacks (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, TypeScript, React, or Angular).
• Practical experience working with RESTful APIs, relational databases (SQL), and standard CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerized environments and version control (Git).
• Solid understanding of system architecture and how different components interact within a larger application.
• Understanding of core software engineering practices, including automated unit testing, debugging, and code documentation.
Additional Qualifications
• Highly empathetic team player who actively communicates mistakes and collaborates to resolve them.
• Ability to support product decisions by providing technical feasibility assessments and contributing to the refinement of requirements.
• Prior experience working in a Pharma/ BioTech environment is advantageous

Compensation & Benefits The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Warsaw Grafit is 121’800.00 PLN - 226’200.00 PLN. Final compensation will be determined by a number of factors, including your skills, experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus with a target of 12% subject to both individual and company performance. This position also offers an attractive benefits package.
