About the role
As a 12-months Intern in Value &Access and Commercial, you will be a part of a vibrant and diverse team and will be able to work cross-functionally. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in how patient access is ensured in Switzerland and learn about Digital/Omnichannel initiatives. You further support the implementation of Commercial projects across the Biogen portfolio.
Value & Access and Commercial Intern is supporting the following activities:
• Supports V&A in ensuring patient access in accordance with both Swiss regulations and company-internal processes
• Supports the coordination and execution of a Digital/Omnichannel communication initiatives to ensure optimal communication to stakeholders
• Supports the commercial team in coordination and execution of affiliate commercial projects and initiatives across different disease areas
What You’ll Do
Value and Access related responsibilities o Supports the Value and Access team in patient access-related initiatives:
• ensures swift handling of requests of health insurances in the context of Swiss regulations (Art 71a-d KVV) to ensure patient access
• ensures claims are processed in-time
• supports the compilation of reimbursement dossiers to the Federal Office of Public Health
o Supports monitoring of regulatory environment (KVG, KLV, KVV etc.) and provides regular updates to the V&A team on current and new legislation and derives potential implications for the portfolio
Commercial related responsibilities o Supports the execution of Digital / Omnichannel campaigns in close collaboration with the brand teams o Supports the implementation of Commercial projects across disease areas e.g. drafting commercial material for newsletters, pre-approved emails, social media ad’s, content for online platforms etc o Collaborates and coordinates closely on the assigned tasks and responsibilities with internal stakeholders
Required Skills:
• Master’s degree in economics, marketing, science or medicine or any other relevant background
• A proactive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work according to tight timelines and to prioritize workload, whilst concentrating on delivery and adding value
• Excellent personal organizational, time management skills, and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Native-level written and spoken German; advanced written and spoken English
• Experience in project management is a plus
