Position Summary You will lead finance risk management and controls for projects and change across Global Finance. You will work closely with project teams, global process owners and finance operations to spot risks, design practical controls, and enable safe change. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Act as the risk and controls partner on global finance projects, including system implementations, migrations and process transformations. - Assess inherent and emerging risks for proposed finance process changes and design proportionate mitigation controls. - Update process maps, control documentation and standard operating procedures to reflect agreed changes and local variations. - Embed controls into new tools and processes and support governance approvals and testing. - Identify opportunities for simplification, automation and data-driven improvements to reduce risk and increase efficiency. - Support handover of controls to operations and provide training and guidance to stakeholders.

Responsibilities - Lead risk assessments and control design across finance domains such as source-to-pay and record-to-report. - Maintain and apply the internal control framework consistently across impacted processes and locations. - Provide timely risk reporting and escalate significant control gaps or change requests to governance teams. - Work with technology and data teams to evaluate digital solutions and their control implications. - Support audit requests by preparing documentation and evidence for project-related control changes. - Build relationships across regions and service locations to influence outcomes and ensure sustainable control ownership.

Why You?

Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: - Qualified accountant or auditor (for example CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent). - Minimum 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience in finance, audit, controls or risk. - Hands-on experience with internal control design and compliance frameworks (for example SOX or local equivalents). - Experience partnering on global process change, ERP implementations or major finance projects. - Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP or S/4HANA, and confidence learning new finance systems. - Strong stakeholder management, clear communication and the ability to influence senior colleagues.

Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Celonis or Alteryx. - Experience in automation programs including RPA, AI or ML and assessing their control impacts. - Prior experience in a global matrix organisation or shared services environment. - Familiarity with multiple accounting standards such as IFRS and local GAAP. - Certification in internal controls, risk management or IT audit (for example CISA, CIA). - Experience preparing materials for governance forums and interacting with external auditors.

Working arrangement This role is based in India and is hybrid. You will split your time between an office location and remote working. Regular collaboration with global colleagues is expected.
