Job Description Summary About the role:
BPA responsibilities over selected portion of the overall ~$700m Global Finance Function P&L. Senior Manager BPA activities within a specific set of Sub-Functions within Finance Function, including FRA. Directly supporting Finance BPA Head for Finance and provide insightful and value-added analysis and decision support to the respective Finance Sub Functions stakeholders in scope of the role.
Job Description Key Requirements:
• Lead the development and preparation of detailed budget / financial forecasts / Strategic plans for the Finance Sub-Functions in scope of the role
• Manage the execution of selected Finance Sub-Functions strategies and correct and timely implementation of BPA processes and policies and ensure adherence thereof
• Deliver core management reporting and financial planning processes to ensure the effective and timely delivery of insightful, recurring or ad-hoc financial information through complex cost analysis covering multiple countries, regions and global Finance teams
• Proactively drive performance and carry out value-added analyses on financial data: Functional Expenses, Other Income and Expenses, End to End Finance business partnering for selected Finance Sub-Functions
• Work closely with selected Finance Sub-Function leaders and stakeholders in driving performance to be in line with budgets / agreed Targets
• Month close analysis and explanation of variances. Deck preparations
• Ensure consistency of a consolidated view of selected Finance Sub Functions during Planning exercise and Month End Closing reporting process
• Lead ad-hoc Cross Functional initiatives / Processes involving other CFCC Functions beyond Finance as part of the CFCC BPA team
• Ensure a pro-active approach within Finance Function BPA team supporting/leading shared BPA activities mainly during month end closing and or planning processes
Essential Requirements:
• 10+ years of finance experience within pharmaceutical industry and/or other industry at country and HQ levels
• Chartered Accountant degree
• Strong AI Capabilities focused on process automation and continuous improvement
Desirable Requirements:
• Shows strong sense of urgency in solving problems, especially in short timelines during close or forecasting cycles
• Maturity to deal with matters of confidentiality and sensitivity and work effectively in a matrix environment
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to foster a constructive, yet challenging dialogue.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to clearly present financial and relevant data
• Outstanding ability to collaborate across matrix organization. Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint
