Position Overview - Basic Functions & Responsibility
Essential function(s) includes, but is not limited to:
• The PSBU Business Excellence Business Partner (BEBP) Lead serves as a trusted business partner to PSBU leadership, driving business performance through disciplined planning, execution excellence, performance management, and operational governance.
• The role is responsible for translating business priorities into actionable plans, ensuring effective resource deployment, rigorous performance tracking, and fact-based decision making to deliver sustainable business results.
• As the primary Business Excellence partner for PSBU, the role enables cross-functional alignment, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement across the commercial organization.
The Core Responsibilities are:

1. Business Performance Management & Decision Support
• Drive PSBU business performance through disciplined forecasting, performance tracking, and action planning.
• Identify business risks and opportunities and recommend actions to improve business outcomes.
• Support leadership decision-making with fact-based analysis and business performance insights.
• Ensure accountability and follow-through on key business priorities and commitments.
2. Business Planning & Resource Deployment
• Lead annual and quarterly business planning processes, ensuring alignment between strategy, resource deployment, territory design, Performance Goal setting, and execution priorities.
• Optimize resource allocation and deployment decisions through data-driven business impact assessment.
• Support launch, growth, and mature brands with fit-for-purpose planning frameworks and performance management approaches.
• Ensure business plans are actionable, measurable, and aligned with enterprise priorities.
3. Partnering and Collaboration
• Serve as the primary Business Excellence interface for PSBU and ensure effective collaboration across Marketing, Business, Finance, Customer Excellence, Insights & Analytics, and other functions.
• Ensure compliance with planning, Performance Goal setting, territory management, incentive, and performance governance processes.
• Drive continuous improvement, simplification, and operational excellence initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.
4. Leadership
• Develop a high-performing team culture through coaching, talent development, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
• Foster ownership, collaboration, execution discipline, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Serve as a role model for business partnership, accountability, and results-oriented leadership.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with strong exposure to business planning, analytics, or commercial operations.
• Demonstrated experience in customer segmentation, targeting, resource deployment, forecasting, SFE, and performance management.
• Experience partnering with senior business leaders in a matrix environment
