Responsibilities
• Close direct sales of products and/or services to meet individual/team quotas and the organization's business objectives.
• Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans to generate a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
• Handle inbound and/or outbound sales calls directly from/to prospective and/or existing customers, responding to customer questions and taking orders.
• Build rapport with customers by probing for needs and recommending appropriate solutions, effectively addressing their primary issues regarding the business, patients, and payer landscape.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives by executing a moderately complex selling process that balances business and customer needs.
• Ensure the optimum customer experience and satisfaction by following established processes and procedures.
• Maximize revenues from sales of the organization's products and/or services through a base of reseller partners in specific assigned channels and/or vertical markets.
• Locate, evaluate, and recruit potential channel partners including systems integrators, value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, dealers, or retailers.
• Support partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and training to achieve revenue targets.
• Develop and manage accounts, focusing on small to moderately-sized accounts/opportunities, and build relationships with customers by tailoring the approach based on understanding their needs.
• Utilize established relationships and ongoing interactions to build trust and deliver value with all relevant contacts at the customer, gathering information about business challenges/needs.
• Develop and execute annual plans to achieve account objectives, pulling through account/business plans.
• Share customer issues and experiences with colleagues to provide insights on trends and improve patient outcomes.
• Use available information and selling tools to persuade customers to utilize our company's products and solutions.
• Appropriately utilize the budget and resources assigned to the territory or account team, being aware of financial elements related to own work.
Qualifications Required
• Proven track record in direct sales and achieving sales quotas.
• Strong lead generation and pipeline management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for handling inbound and outbound sales calls.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Experience in channel sales and managing reseller partners.
• Proficiency in identifying and recruiting potential channel partners.
• Knowledge of sales processes, marketing, advertising, and sales promotions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and sales activities.
• Strong leadership skills including but not limited to strategic planning, entrepreneurship, innovation, and business savviness. They should be a change catalyst with a proven track record in coaching and development, talent growth, and execution excellence.
• Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, and have the ability to influence and motivate others. They should have excellent emotional intelligence, decision-making skills, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Networking and partnerships should be a key strength.
