Position Summary The Product Manager, Professional Promotion will support the development and execution of CAPLYTA healthcare professional promotional strategy across Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Bipolar Depression (BPD). Working with the Product Director, Professional Promotion, this role will translate brand strategy, clinical data, customer insights, and performance analytics into compelling, compliant HCP-facing resources and integrated engagement initiatives that strengthen customer engagement, field execution, and brand performance.
The Product Manager will manage assigned promotional assets from concept through deployment and optimization; partner with Sales Leadership and Learning Excellence to advance field readiness and pull-through; and use market research, competitive intelligence, and business analytics to inform priorities and measure impact. The role will collaborate across Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Health Care Compliance, Sales, Market Access, Analytics, Operations, and agency partners to deliver initiatives on strategy, on time, and within budget. The Product Manager will report to the Group Product Director, Professional Promotion and serve as a core member of the CAPLYTA brand team.
Responsibilities / Areas of Focus Include but Are Not Limited to the Following Activities
HCP Promotional Strategy and Execution
• Support development and execution of CAPLYTA professional promotion strategies and tactics across Major Depressive Disorder and Bipolar Depression.
• Translate brand strategy, clinical data, customer insights, and performance analytics into clear, compelling, and compliant HCP-facing resources.
• Manage assigned promotional assets through concept development, market research, promotional review, production, deployment, and optimization.
Field Strategy, Readiness, and Pull-Through
• Partner with Sales Leadership and Learning Excellence to develop field-facing messaging, resources, training, and execution guidance that enable effective customer engagement.
• Gather field feedback and executional insights to identify barriers, opportunities, and enhancements that strengthen brand pull-through.
• Support plan-of-action meetings, manager meetings, field communications, and other readiness initiatives that build confidence and consistency in execution.
Customer Insights, Analytics, and Optimization
• Leverage market research, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and business analytics to inform tactical priorities and executional recommendations.
• Establish success measures for assigned initiatives, monitor performance, and recommend optimizations that improve customer engagement and business impact.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the treatment landscape, customer journey, competitive environment, and evolving HCP needs across priority audiences.
Integrated Customer Engagement
• Partner with Non-Personal Promotion, peer-to-peer education, Market Development, and other customer-facing teams to deliver a coordinated and consistent HCP experience.
• Support development of integrated personal and digital engagement tactics aligned with customer needs, brand priorities, and key decision points.
• Contribute to congress, advisory board, market research, and other customer-engagement initiatives as appropriate.
Cross-Functional and Operational Leadership
• Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Health Care Compliance, Sales, Market Access, Analytics, Operations, and agency partners to deliver compliant and effective initiatives.
• Lead day-to-day agency and vendor workstreams, including scope, timelines, budgets, quality, and risk management, to ensure delivery on strategy, on time, and within budget.
• Serve as a core contributor to brand planning, budget management, and prioritization while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and agile team culture.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or advanced degree in related field is helpful.
• A minimum of 5 years of work experience, with 2 years in marketing, sales, sales learning and development, healthcare professional, sales leadership and/or commercial insight strategy experience and/or experience in a qualified leadership development program.
• Experience with project management and experience in field sales preferred.
• Healthcare experience or pharmaceutical industry knowledge.
• Psychiatry and/or mental health experience preferred
• Experience with working with and developing strong relationships with KOLs strongly preferred
• Demonstrated marketing proficiency, project management and executive communication skills required along with demonstrated presentation skills.
• Proven ability to influence without authority and drive impactful cross-functional collaboration in large groups
• A demonstrated ability to be proactive, work within a team environment, and lead multiple agencies/partners and external stakeholders is required
• Must be innovative, proactive, and have excellent business acumen
This position is based in Titusville, NJ and may require up to 20% domestic travel.
The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program.
