The Position About the position:

As the Site Strategy Officer, this role acts as the architect of the organization's most critical strategic evolution: the transformation of its global external ecosystem.
The Site Strategy Officer will bridge the gap between high-level executive vision and on-the-ground execution, serving as a thought partner to the legal entity leadership team by bringing perspectives from a broader local and global network.
Operating with significant autonomy to drive site strategy, this is a legacy-building role designed for a transformative leader capable of driving cultural change, operational excellence, and translating business and employee needs into a clear vision across a global multinational matrix
What you’ll do
Site Strategy and Global Integration
• Manages the development and implementation process of a legal entity 6221’s strategy, synchronizing the strategy with the global sites organization.
• Runs the annual site strategy exercise within the Leadership Team (LT) and drives the core agenda of the leadership meeting.
• Synchronizes site-level functions by aligning with the overarching global corporate objectives.
Ecosystem and Stakeholder Engagement
• Manages relationships with Indian ecosystem trade and industry bodies, as well as the global sites ecosystem.
• Acts as an ecosystem partner with Roche commercial affiliates in India.
• Executes a program strategy leveraging deep market insights to drive cost efficiencies in the site and transition the site toward a high-performance digital delivery model.
• Acts as the primary liaison for the leadership team, preparing briefings and influencing senior decision-makers to remove critical project roadblocks.
Operating Model and Governance
• Defines and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the site value realization.
• Run all leadership meetings and other governing bodies and drives its core agenda
Audit and Performance Management
• Owns internal GARA and other ecosystem (non-financial) audit outcomes and milestones, coordinating with local and global stakeholders to close audits successfully
Program Delivery and Financial Integrity
• Monitors site-level projects and programs from initiation through delivery, planning schedules and directing activities to ensure completion on schedule and within budget constraints.
• Involves departmental and cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects
• Ensures cross-functional synergy with Finance, People & Culture (HR), Legal, and Procurement teams to support the Site growth.
• Plan and oversee the budget for site initiatives, maintaining "Planned vs. Actual" tracking and monitoring budget/spending.
Organizational Change and Cross-Functional Leadership
• Runs major site-level innovation and partner events with a focus on cross-team collaboration.
• Organizes the interdepartmental activities aligned with global sites’ organization ensuring completion of the project/program on schedule and within budget constraints.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates employees to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Digital Transformation and AI Integration
• Works with head of data and digital organization in sites’s organization to align digital priorities across sites
• Spearheads the integration of innovative technologies, including automation and advanced analytics, into sites’ operational workflows.
Who you are
• Experienced Program Leader: You have 10+ years of experience in strategic program management, specifically within a global matrix.
• Academic qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant subject matter area.
• Global Exposure: You have a demonstrated history of orchestrating initiatives across complex, cross-border multinational structures.
• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of sites, GCC, tech trends, and talent markets.
• Market Intelligence Expert: You possess deep knowledge of the Indian Global Capability Center (GCC) landscape, including talent trends, vendor ecosystems, and operational best practices.
• Strategic Influencer: You demonstrate exceptional executive presence and the ability to persuade C-suite-level stakeholders and build consensus across disparate global regions.
• Financial & Business Expert: You possess a "business-owner" mindset with the ability to translate complex operational data into clear P&L impacts and strategic choices.
• Methodology Master: You are adept at using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage complex, cross-functional workstreams and high-priority initiatives.
• Analytical Problem Solver: You take a pragmatic approach to troubleshooting large-scale organizational hurdles, simplifying complex information into actionable leadership insights
• Ability to network in a matrix organization, working with diverse cross-functional teams, representing various cultural and professional backgrounds
• Ability to operate in high pressure, time sensitive emergency situations
• Able to deliver outcomes through collaborating and partnering with inclusion
