Process Safety Engineer

Minimum Qualifications: • BS or higher in chemical engineering (preferred) or other engineering discipline • Over 5+ years process safety / process engineering experience in Electronics specialties gases / industrial gases / petrochemical / chemical industry or related industries. • Several years of experience in process safety required. • Experience in companies with excellent process safety and/or process engineering function is desirable. • Familiar with engineering documents (e.g. P&IDs) and international code/standard such as API, IEC and NFPA etc. • Experience working in a matrix environment connecting with remote team members, project managers, and customers. • Good command of English language (speak and write) required. Preferred Qualifications: • Capable of leading / performing Hazard reviews, Qualitative risk analysis, Quantitative risk analysis, Mechanical integrity consulting, Safety integrated system analysis, Critical safety circuit define, Management of change, Process safety management, Pre-Startup Safety Review, etc. • Process engineering background in electronic specialty gases/ thin film/ delivery system and service (DS&S) / chemical plants desirable. • Demonstrated ability to provide process safety related technical standards.
