Upstream Field Application Scientist

requirements

• B.S., M.S. or PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related science or engineering discipline • 6+ years’ experience in biopharmaceutical technical roles in upstream bioprocesses, in lab, pilot and/or manufacturing scale environments. Extensive years of proven experience and knowledge in upstream bioprocesses. • Technical mastery in upstream bioprocesses; strong hands-on upstream cell line, media and process development, scale-up and implementation studies. • Proven abilities to translate customer needs into technical outcomes; proficient in data analyses and design of experiments. • Excellent written and oral communication; capable of delivering reports, presentations and training to diverse audiences including senior internal stakeholders and management. • Commercially astute; understands market needs and trends, processes and how technical solutions map technical and business impact. • Collaborative; effective team player, in a cross-functional, multicultural matrix environment; strong stakeholder management. • Fluent in English, and local language, where applicable What we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
