requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, bioengineering or a related scientific or engineering discipline. • At least 7 years of experience in biopharmaceutical technical roles focused on upstream bioprocessing, including experience in laboratory, pilot-scale and/or manufacturing-scale environments. • Extensive, demonstrated expertise in upstream bioprocess development and biomanufacturing. • Strong hands-on experience with upstream cell line and media development, process development, scale-up and implementation studies. • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into practical technical solutions and measurable outcomes. • Proficiency in data analysis and design of experiments. • Working knowledge and practical experience with process control systems, such as PLC and PCS, biopharmaceutical automation practices and FDA data integrity expectations. • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to understand market needs and trends and connect technical solutions to customer and business impact. • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, multicultural and matrixed organization, with strong stakeholder-management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, deliver presentations and conduct training for diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders and management. • Fluency in English; Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred. • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50–60% of the time.
