The position As an Inventory Analyst, you will provide analytical, operational, and governance support for inventory planning and Centre of Excellence activities. You'll be a key coordination point between affiliates, regional teams, demand planners, supply chain managers, and GBS teams – translating complex data into actionable insights that drive smarter supply-demand decisions.
Day-to-day your tasks will include:
• Monitoring inventory health across assigned affiliates, regions, and product portfolios – analysing stock availability, weeks of supply, stock-out risks, overstock, slow-moving stock, expiry exposure, and batch risk with value impact
• Preparing inventory insights, exception reports, and recommendations to support supply-demand balancing and mitigation actions
• Developing, maintaining, and improving inventory KPIs, dashboards, trackers, and governance routines to ensure clear visibility of performance and escalations
• Partnering with Centre of Excellence teams to standardize supply chain processes, reporting templates, and ways of working across regions
• Driving root-cause analysis and supporting corrective actions for recurring inventory and planning issues
• Identifying process gaps and supporting automation, digitalization, and simplification initiatives to reduce manual workload and improve decision quality
• Creating and maintaining SOPs, process flows, RACI matrices, and training materials to promote operational discipline and accountability
Qualifications We're looking for an Inventory Analyst with a sharp analytical mind and a passion for driving supply chain performance.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline
• 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience
• Relevant experience in supply chain operations, inventory management, demand planning, S&OP, order management, or Centre of Excellence support
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory, demand, supply, forecast, and order data and turn it into clear, action-oriented recommendations
• Strong understanding of inventory principles, replenishment planning, forecast review, stock health monitoring, and supply-demand balancing
• Proficiency in SAP, O2C, OMP or similar planning tools, Power BI, Excel, and dashboard/reporting solutions
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, regional stakeholders, affiliates, and operational partners
• Strong documentation skills, including SOP creation, process mapping, and governance framework development
• Experience in shared services, GBS, pharmaceutical supply chain, or regional supply chain operations is an advantage
