Use Your Power for Purpose We are seeking a senior meta-model engineer to own and evolve our Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) meta-model, system integration, and workflows. This role partners closely with Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) to coordinate catalog/operating-model changes impacting the PGS Unified Data Hub (UDH) and adjacent platforms, and represents Data & AI Platforms (DAIP) on PGS-facing projects and forums. As a senior meta-model engineer for the Collibra platform team, you will shape the asset model, build/maintain workflows, external integrations, and guide standards for security, lineage, and governance to make trusted data easy to find, understand, and use by our colleagues and AI agents.

What You Will Achieve In this role, you will:

• Manage time effectively to meet targets and develop plans for short-term work activities on moderately complex projects.

• Operate under general supervision, following established procedures and instructions, and solve loosely defined problems.

• Use personal judgment to modify methods and techniques as needed.

• Collaborate with Information Technology partners to set up development, test, and production environments.

• Conduct risk analysis and impact assessments for solutions that integrate with other Pfizer systems.

• Design and implement application software configurations and systems design for commercial off-the-shelf software products.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team to achieve project goals.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

• Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a master's degree with more than 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in data governance, metadata engineering, and/or data modeling.

• Strong workflow automation skills (BPMN; scripting such as Groovy/Java/Python) and Collibra REST API integration patterns.

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate change across business and platform teams (impact/risk assessment, deployment plans, controls).

• Excellent stakeholder management; comfortable representing platform positions with PGS product, architecture, and governance forums.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

• Background supporting PGS or manufacturing/supply chain data domains and their operating models.

• 1-3+ years hands-on in Collibra (DGC, Console, Job Server, workflows, APIs)

• Proven experience designing and evolving Collibra meta-models (asset/attribute types, relations, communities/domains) at enterprise scale.

• Practical knowledge of technical lineage harvesting and curation (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks UC) and mapping to business glossaries.

• Understanding of Collibra security models, role design, SSO/IdM integration.

• Familiarity with data quality operating models and rule lifecycle in Collibra.

• Experience in regulated environments (GxP).

• Copilot Studio/Claude Code

• Git/Jenkins/Git Actions for workflow/config promotion.

• Snowflake, Databricks/Unity Catalog, Tableau/Power BI scanners and lineage connectors.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $79,400.00 to $132,400.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
