Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering discipline and 5+ years of engineering experience. OR • Master’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering discipline and 3+ years of engineering experience. OR • PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering discipline and 1+ years of engineering experience. Preferred Qualifications: • Advanced knowledge of and practice in protein separations. • Experienced in conducting exploratory and development work in a research laboratory environment. • Proficient in design of experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis methods. • Must have a sense of urgency and unwavering resolve to meet project timelines. • Develop and maintain broad knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories through literature, conferences, and workshops. • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project) and statistical analysis software such as Minitab or JMP. Pay Range for this position: $85,500 - $149,800 / year​ The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
