We are seeking a Senior Manager Trade & Distribution Operations Japan to join our Market Access function, supporting our Japan business in a hybrid work model. In this role, you will lead distribution and order fulfillment operations, drive vendor performance, and ensure compliance with distribution requirements while collaborating with vendors, wholesalers, Trade, Legal, and cross-functional teams. Discover your role:

• Resolve distribution escalations with vendors, customers, and partners.

• Serve as the primary contact for vendors and contract compliance.

• Oversee distribution operations, delivery performance, and service efficiency.

• Lead 3PL oversight for regulatory and contractual compliance.

• Monitor budgets, inventory levels, delivery timelines, and pricing trends.

• Produce vendor performance reviews, quarterly metrics, and management reports.

• Support contract development, claims resolution, and workflow optimization.

• You proactively drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

This role requires:

• Bachelor's degree.

• 8+ years in supply chain, distribution, or wholesaler management.

• 5+ years in pharmaceutical supply chain, distribution, or wholesaler management.

• Extensive knowledge of GDP regulations and pharmaceutical transactions in Japan.

• Expertise overseeing 3PL operations, including order-to-cash activities.

• Experience with contract and rebate processing in pharmaceutical or biotech industries.

• Strong understanding of prescription pharmaceutical commercialization.

• Ability to track, analyze, and resolve data anomalies using business systems and dashboards.

• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles related to supply chain and distribution.

• Leadership experience facilitating meetings and integrating cross-functional teams.

• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and deliver high-quality results.

• Global market experience is a plus.
