AstraZeneca Mexico is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join us as the Business Unit Director for our RIV segment. This role requires a talent who can lead, inspire, and drive a dynamic team toward achieving outstanding business results. As a pivotal member of our leadership team, you will:

• Strategic Leadership: Lead the RIV unit, aligning business objectives with AstraZeneca's growth strategy to maximize sales and margin revenue.

• Inspirational Guidance: Provide motivational leadership to a team of Sales and Marketing professionals, instilling a customer-centric approach and fostering a culture of excellence.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Medical Affairs Department, providing vital medical insights about our products, and lead cross-functional teams to manage and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

• Global Alignment: Ensure the local business strategy is in harmony with the global launch processes for RIV products to optimize market impact.

Key Challenges:

• Inspire and mentor a dedicated team, transforming them into a motivated, committed group focused on customer needs and value creation, thereby driving outstanding sales results.

• Act as a key force in accelerating the company’s growth in Mexico by cultivating a results-driven mindset and instilling a strong sense of urgency and strategic thinking within the team.

• Elevate scientific discussions with KOLs, continuously enhancing AstraZeneca’s standing as a leader in respiratory solutions.

Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree is essential.

• Proven experience in managing and leading large teams with demonstrable impact.

• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical product development and commercialization in the US.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Mexico’s Healthcare environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

• An MBA in a relevant field.

• Experience in Consumer and/or Managed Markets roles.

• Background in Sales and/or Sales Leadership.

• Experience in Emerging or Developing Frontier Leadership (DFL) roles.
