iShift Business Enablement – Global Trade Services Lead

Job summary

This is a highly specialized role within the Order to Cash function, responsible for enabling SAP GTS trade compliance processes across the iShift program. The position requires deep GTS expertise and close cross-functional collaboration with Customs, Sanctioned Party List Screening (SPLS), and Order to Cash teams to ensure regulatory compliance and standardized GTS deployment and evolution according to the worldwide regulation.

Lead SAP GTS business enablement activities within the Order to Cash function, collaborating across Customs, SPLS, and O2C teams Be GTS business group referent across functions, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance Design and deploy GTS solutions aligned with the S/4HANA roadmap in partnership with Solution delivery and the integrators Provide expertise on trade compliance processes: license management, preference determination, sanctions screening, and customs declarations… Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations and ensure their application in S/4HANA/GTS

Main responsibilities

Preparation Phase

• Gather and validate trade compliance requirements across Customs, SPLS, and Order to Cash functions

• Develop and document trade compliance business scenarios covering export, import, and screening processes

• Analyze current GTS landscapes, customs processes, and system configurations

• Conduct regulatory gap analysis and translate findings into detailed business requirements

Scoping and Design Phase

• Lead gap analysis between current trade compliance processes and the GTS core model, working across Customs, SPLS, and O2C teams

• Present GTS core model to stakeholders covering export control, sanctions screening, and customs management

• Translate regulatory requirements into functional specifications and GTS design documentation (L5/L6)

• Document license management, preference management, and embargo processes in collaboration with customs and legal teams

Build & Test Phase

• Coordinate K-user testing across Order to Cash export, SPLS, and customs teams as the GTS specialist

• Guide test script execution for sanctions screening, export licenses, customs declarations, and preference determination

• Analyze and prioritize defects against regulatory constraints

• Develop GTS-specific training materials and deliver K-user training on trade compliance processes

Deploy & Hypercare Phase

• Provide hypercare support as the GTS expert, resolving complex trade compliance issues post go-live

• Monitor regulatory compliance and GTS solution performance metrics

• Manage transition to Business as Usual (BAU) in coordination with Customs, SPLS, and O2C teams

Continuous Improvement

• Monitor regulatory changes (export control laws, sanctions lists, customs regulations) and assess impact on GTS configuration

• Drive GTS enhancement activities across Customs, SPLS, and O2C functions based on regulatory updates or audit findings

• Track and report on GTS core model adherence and compliance metrics

Change Management

• Assess and document process changes impacting export operations, screening, and customs functions

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement across Order to Cash, SPLS, and Customs teams to manage regulatory and compliance impacts

Requirements

• 7–10 years' experience in SAP GTS and trade compliance processes

• Extensive GTS implementation experience within S/4HANA environments

• Deep knowledge of export control, sanctions screening, and customs regulations

• Experience with license management, preference management, and restricted party screening

• Familiarity with international trade compliance frameworks (EAR, ITAR, EU dual-use regulations)

• Proven track record as a GTS subject matter expert working across multiple business functions

• Demonstrated experience facilitating and aligning requirements across Customs, SPLS, and Order to Cash teams

• Strong cross-functional collaboration and facilitation skills

The salary range for this position is :€69.200,00 - €103.800,00Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
