Job Description

Position Summary

The Value & Access Associate Director is responsible for leading the development and execution of market access, value demonstration, pricing, reimbursement, health economics, policy and stakeholder engagement strategies for Kite's cell therapy portfolio in Brazil.

This role partners closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, Legal, Regulatory Affairs and Finance teams to ensure sustainable patient access and successful commercialization of current and future therapies. The position plays a critical role in shaping the external environment, influencing policy discussions, generating evidence and securing reimbursement pathways across both public and private healthcare systems.

The Associate Director is a member of the Kite Brazil Leadership Team and contributes to strategic business planning and long-term growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Market Access Strategy

• Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategies for current and pipeline products.

• Lead access planning across public and private healthcare environments.

• Identify and address reimbursement barriers impacting patient access.

• Build long-term access roadmaps aligned with business objectives and launch timelines.

• Drive innovative access models and alternative reimbursement solutions for high-cost therapies.

Value Demonstration & Health Economics

• Lead development of value propositions tailored to Brazilian stakeholders.

• Oversee Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) initiatives.

• Generate local evidence and economic models supporting reimbursement discussions.

• Ensure adaptation of global value dossiers to the Brazilian environment.

• Support evidence generation strategies that demonstrate clinical, economic and societal value.

Pricing & Reimbursement

• Lead pricing strategy development for current and future products.

• Coordinate submissions to CMED and reimbursement stakeholders.

• Support global pricing governance discussions representing Brazilian market needs.

• Evaluate pricing scenarios, payer impact and market implications.

• Ensure alignment between pricing decisions and access objectives.

Public Policy & Stakeholder Engagement

• Shape policy initiatives that facilitate access to advanced therapies.

• Build and maintain relationships with:

• Government authorities

• Payers

• HTA bodies

• Industry associations

• Academic institutions

• Patient organizations

• Monitor healthcare policy developments and recommend strategic responses.

• Represent Kite in relevant industry forums and policy discussions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Serve as the primary access partner to Commercial and Medical teams.

• Lead cross-functional planning for launches and lifecycle management activities.

• Provide access perspective to strategic planning processes.

• Influence internal decisions through data-driven recommendations.

• Collaborate closely with regional and global access teams.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach and develop the Value & Access organization.

• Foster a high-performance, patient-centric culture.

• Build organizational capabilities to support future portfolio growth.

• Drive talent development and succession planning.

Critical Deliverables

• Sustainable reimbursement strategies for Kite therapies.

• Successful launch readiness and access planning for future products.

• High-quality HTA and payer submissions.

• Strategic partnerships supporting innovative access models.

• Development of local evidence packages influencing payer decisions.

• Policy initiatives that expand patient access to cell therapies.
