Job Description

About the role As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you will drive the utilisation and impact of Takeda’s gastrointestinal portfolio across your assigned territory in Finland. You will build long-term, value-based partnerships with key stakeholders, ensuring that patients benefit from innovative treatments and services. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering business objectives within budget, while positioning Takeda as a trusted partner through strong account leadership, insight-driven planning, and collaboration across functions.

How you will contribute You will lead the development and execution of strategic account plans, ensuring alignment across the organisation and delivering measurable results:

• Develop and execute insight-driven key account plans to achieve agreed objectives and KPIs

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers

• Identify customer needs and co-create solutions that deliver value for both stakeholders and patients

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (commercial, medical, market access) to deliver coordinated account strategies

• Monitor market developments, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform decisions and adapt plans

• Ensure timely execution of account activities in line with agreed plans, timelines, and budget

• Provide expert guidance to healthcare professionals on the appropriate use of Takeda’s products and services

• Continuously assess performance, identify opportunities, and adjust strategies to achieve financial and business targets

• Act as a representative of Takeda’s values, ensuring all activities are conducted in compliance with regulations and company standards

What you bring to Takeda You bring a combination of scientific understanding, commercial acumen, and strong stakeholder engagement skills:

• Relevant degree in science, healthcare, or a commercial field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry

• Proven experience in key account management and customer relationship management

• Experience engaging with stakeholders in specialty and/or primary care settings

• Strong understanding of data, scientific evidence, and the healthcare environment

• Ability to balance long-term strategy with short-term execution

• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders

• Digital proficiency and ability to leverage tools to enhance engagement and performance

• Customer- and patient-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes

• Fluency in Finnish and English
